Olivia & Nick at Lapstone Barn
This was my first time photographing a wedding at Lapstone Barn and what a treat! Everything about this venue was perfect, this traditional 18th-century Cotswold barn will sweep you off your feet. The tall ceilings made from the renowned cream coloured Cotswolds stone, the beautiful beams and the sweeping views of the Cotswold countryside, it’s a perfect picture perfect venue.
We started the day in a gorgeous cottage close to the venue for hair and make-up, we then drove over to the Hayloft at Lapstone Barn, the stunning bridal suite, for Liv to put on her dress and final details before the ceremony. Liv’s dress was absolutely stunning, totally unique, a blush fitted dress embellished with chiffon flowers with a detachable train, it was the wedding dress of dreams!
While we are talking about all things dreamy, the ceremony barn was absolutely breathtaking, Rebecca Kate Flowers transformed the space, creating a half flower arch and spring blooms all the way down the aisle. The white and green popped against the cream stone and looked absolutely magical.
After the ceremony everyone headed outside for welcome drinks and whilst the wonderful team transformed the barn for some group photos we headed for a walk around the venue for some couple portraits against the beautiful Cotswold countryside.
It was then time for the wedding breakfast in the main barn, set out in long tables it looked modern and chic. After some beautiful speeches, all their wonderful guests had an incredible time at the wedding reception, the dance floor was full, the shots kept flowing and we were even joined by a life-size topless cut out of the groom which one of the groomsmen surprised them with!
Thank you so much Liv & Nick for having me be part of such an incredible day!
