How long will it take to receive my photos after the wedding day?

I put up a sneak peek gallery within a few days of your wedding date, with your full gallery available to view online within six weeks of your wedding.

Where are you based?

I'm based in Yorkshire but do travel and shoot weddings all over the world.

Can we meet before the big day?

Absolutely! If you are local, I'd love to meet you. If not, we can chat via video to get to know each other before the wedding. If your wedding is destination, I always encourage a meeting the day before your wedding.

Are you insured?

Absolutely! This is so important when you are looking to book a photographer - I wouldn't shoot without it.

Do you take group shots?

Of course, I'm here to document your day, your way - with your friends and family by your side. I will take as few or as many group shots as you require. All that I ask is that we work together to make sure we have plenty of time to fit them in. I ask my couples to allocate five minutes per group shot into their timeline, this just gives us that little bit of extra time for finding guests (at the bar!).

Do you prefer flash photography or natural light?

I love natural light. It produces a mood and feeling that can't be matched. Of course, when necessary I use flash. Knowing when to use both is part of what you hire a professional for.

What happens if you get sick?

This has never happened to date but if something horrible were to happen and it was impossible for me to shoot your wedding, I have instant access to a group of great photographers with a similar style to me who can step in at short notice. You will never be left without a photographer.

We can be awkward and we feel nervous about the couple's portraits. Any advice?

Firstly, please don't panic, I get this from 90% of my couples. I have so much experience making couples feel comfortable during portraits - I will give you a few prompts to help out but will be guided by how you naturally interact with each other so you never feel not yourselves.
