Melissa & Josh at Nunsmere Hall

Nestled away in heart of the historic Delamere Forest, surrounded by a 60-acre lake, whether you are looking to hold a small, intimate affair or something grander, Nunsmere is a stunning wedding venue in Cheshire with everything you need to bring your dream day to life.

What a fun morning I had with Melissa and her bridesmaids, I felt like all we did was laugh the entire morning and it definitely set the tone for a fun filled wedding day at Nunsmere Hall.

While Josh and his groomsmen were looking dapper down the corridor, Melissa was putting on her final details before the big reveal with her bridesmaids. After tears all round, we were lucky enough to have some time for some portraits with her girls before heading down for the ceremony.

The ceremony was set up in the Crystal Suite At Nunsmere, with a beautiful ornate ceiling and views overlooking the stunning grounds, it’s a stunning space to say your ‘I Do’s’ and it was made even more impressive by the huge blossom trees and decor by MaddisonJ Creations.

After the ceremony we headed to the hallway for a unique confetti shot on the stairs at Nunsmere. After greeting their guests we headed outside on an absolutely beautiful day for drinks and canapés with entertainment from singer Abbie Hanlon. Abbie has the most beautiful voice and is just the loveliest person so if you are looking for a singer for your day she is your gal!

After some gorgeous group shots in the grounds we took a short stroll into the gardens for some couple portraits before getting a preview of the wedding breakfast marquee in the grounds. After some very emotional speeches they enjoyed a gorgeous 3 course wedding breakfast before heading back out into the gardens. There was a beautiful sunset so we took a walk into the forest and down to the lake for a few more couple portraits before heading back into the marquee for a night of incredible dance moves and entertainment from Abbie!
