Lauren & Michael at Hooton Pagnell Hall
Lauren & Michael got married at one of my absolutely favourite venues, Hooton Pagnell Hall. I’ve photographed weddings at Hooton Pagnell Hall in every season and know the venue better than any other. It’s just the most perfect wedding venue! Nestled within the South Yorkshire countryside, not too Far from Doncaster, surrounded by green rolling hills, Hooton Pagnell Hall is a timeless, yet elegant Grade II* listed luxury boutique bed and breakfast, wedding and events venue.
Hooton Pagnell Hall has three different locations for your ceremony, the Tithe Barn, a beautiful cream stone building with tall ceilings, The Summer House, perfect for smaller weddings, a cosy space in the gorgeous manicured gardens and then The Pavillion, the outdoor ceremony space, which is where Lauren & Michael held their ceremony.
The day started in the bridal suite at Hooton Pagnell Hall with Lauren, her bridesmaids, her mum and her gorgeous girls. The bridal suite in the Main Hall at Hooton Pagnell is one of my favourite getting ready spots to photograph, the huge windows make for beautiful natural photos and there is plenty of room for everyone to get ready and make space for beautiful bridal portraits before the ceremony. Once those final details were done it was time to head down to their beautiful outdoor ceremony in the gardens, surrounded by yellow flowers which perfectly matched Laurens bouquet. After the ceremony their guests were entertained by the amazing Afro Magic during their drinks reception. L&M decided they didn’t want formal speeches so Laurens Dad said a few words on the lawns before heading into the gorgeous Tithe Barn for their wedding breakfast.
A special mention is needed for Lauren & Michaels gorgeous cake made by Where The Ribbon Ends. Sunflowers were special to Lauren as they represented her grandparents and the beautiful painted sunflowers on their wedding cake were stunning.
L&M had a surprise for their guests during the wedding breakfast with the fantastic Undercover Waiters. If you haven’t seen the Undercover Waiters before they are brilliant, acting as waiters serving your wedding breakfast, they will then ‘accidentally’ fall over drawing attention from your worried guests who are then surprised when they burst into song and get everyone on their feet. The atmosphere is incredible and really gets the party started early!
After enjoying a beautiful wedding breakfast by the best caterers in the business, Eat Me Drink Me, everyone headed back out to the sun soaked lawns for a bouquet toss and drinks before the heading back inside where Union Street band kicked off the most incredible party!
Thank you so much Lauren & Michael for having me be part of your wedding! It was such an incredible day!
